Why are you here? Who am I? What adventures?
You’re here because you share with me a passion for educating our learners, and a belief that the use of technologies can transform and radicalise the experience.
Our children and young people have never before had access to so much technology. They see the ability to communicate through and play with a range of devices as an essential skill. Having never known a world without these, many are Internet-savvy and confident users of technology as they enter primary school.
Promoting the use of a wide range of technologies, and exploring their potential in enhancing learning and fostering creativity, has been central to my work for the past 15 or so years.
My adventures began when I was the ICT coordinator in a primary school. Ambitious to make ICT integral to learning, I helped to develop a new scheme of work. This improved ICT curriculum was successfully delivered armed with only half a dozen computers and there was a positive impact through its application in other subjects.

"At a time when the world is undergoing massive transformations; culturally, financially, environmentally and technologically, there couldn't be a better time to transform learning by pressing the reset switch on a Victorian past and looking at things in ways more suited to learners in the 21st Century"
Graham Brown-Martin, Learning Without Frontiers
Recently, I have been a City Learning Centre Manager in London, a role which allowed me to continue my adventures and create radical learning opportunities for the young people in the borough. I am currently the Director of Learning and Teaching at Impact Education Solutions Ltd.
I am a LEGO®Certified Trainer, an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Digital Cre8or trainer and assessor.
